Which Side Are You

Parting we find is seldom sweet
Once life has closed her gates
Soon face to face our God we’ll meet
Eternity awaits

Forever in hell’s gruesome flame
Or life so rich and sweet
Choose now the devil’s path of shame
Or sit at Jesus’ feet

Some see in life they’re cold and lost
They seek and find The Lord
They follow Christ what ere the cost
To flee the coming sword

Others deny The Tree Of Life
Decline Salvation’s path
Refuse to be Christ’s faithful wife
To seek eternal wrath

Depending on which side we speak
If yet we understand
Whether or not our faith is weak
And who is in command

So now they’re dying everywhere
People like you and I
But what has death with us to share
What happens when we die?

There’s no escape no place to hide
No way with death to strive
Whatever wealth we’ve multiplied
We cannot stay alive

The choice remains with every breath
Take Christ or Satan’s hand
We need to know before our death
What future life has planned?
