Which To Choose?

You have a Bible in your room
A wide screen TV too
Which to while away your gloom
Would you daily choose to view?

Don’t think to cheat or tell a lie
Allow wisdom guide you
God always keeps an open eye
On everything we do

Allow wisdom raise its voice
If endless life you seek
Let understanding be your choice
All seven days a week

In both we see things right and wrong
In both are things to learn
In both is taught a different song
Which causes, much concern

In both we laugh in both we cry
Fill broken hearts with cheer
How man should live how best to die
And how to deal with fear

While both, upon a shelf can fit
Both, could change our views
While both can entertain with wit
Which, is better to choose

Which of them serves us best today?
If both when understood
Will teach to walk live life the way
One’s conscience sees as good

Let only one accompany you
As constant guide and friend
If truth and wisdom, you pursue
Until life’s very end
