ଲେଖିଲାବେଳେ ମୁଁ While Writing I
ଲେଖିଲାବେଳେ ମୁଁ
ମୋ ନିଜ ନିୟମ ମାନେ।
ମୋ ନିଜ ନିୟମରେ
ମତେ ବି ଛାଡେ ନା,
ତମେ ତ ତମେ!
ରଜା ହୁଅ କି ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ,
ସାବିତ୍ରୀ କି
ବାର ଦୁଆରୀ ଦୁତୀ
ମୁଁ କି ଜାଣେ?
English rendering;
While writing I
Follow my own rules.
In my own rules
Even I would not
Spare me,
Who you are!
May you be the king
Or the Minister,
May you be Sabitri
Or vagabond lady
I know not.
