Whispers Of Alast Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Whispers Of Alast

Rating: 5.0

At night,
Your breath of Hu enfolded me—
a living whisper:
"I have entered your zikr-e-dā'im."

So simple,
yet a hidden sky unfolded.
Stillness deepened,
creation leaned close,
and I breathed again
the warmth of being summoned
by my Lord.

It was Alast,
echoing without sound.

Then—Your question:
"Am I not your Lord? "
"Yes, my Lord, " I breathed.
"But do you truly mean it?
Is this fire eternal,
or a passing flame?
When nearness fades,
will you forget,
and wander once more
into the night? "

Joy and sorrow met—
two rivers joined,
two hearts trembled.

I vowed to guard this covenant
as my breath,
for one enduring reason:
I cannot turn
from remembering You.

You remembered me first—
and that remembrance bears me,
through twilight,
into dawn.

Awakened, I know:
I was Yours,
I am Yours,
I will always be Yours—

until the last veil falls away,
and all that remains
is You,
shining
as my essence.
