He saw me in white
On our first date
He saw me in white
It was like fate.
He held my hand,
Watching the bay.
We sat on sand,
Together in May.
Everyday, filled with love.
But waves change,
It grows, towering above,
As tall as a mountain range.
It all came crashing down,
Like a tsunami hitting a city.
A love will soon drown,
A smile turns into a frown.
Again, he saw me in white.
Like a flower about to bloom,
His tears fell on sight,
Because he wasn't the groom.
