White Mountain - Poem by Taylor Holmstrom

Hark! I have discovered beauty
A colossal mountain blanketed with a sheet
That glistens with glorious crystals.

These gems emit gleaming light
That shines in the bleak winter afternoon
Lighting up the dead trees

And valiant mortals hath arrived
To tackle this daunting monster of terror
But can they do it?

Can this colossal mountainous beast
Possibly be scaled by mere little humans
That rely on strange technology?

Such technology that obeys commands
And does what its human inventors desire
Whenever they want it granted?

With such electronic little gizmos
And with faith in the Good Lord
White Mountain can be scaled.
