Whitewash, the color of purity
A canvas of blank, a pristine beauty
A usual crescendo, a familiar sight
But beneath the surface, a story to ignite
Whitewash, a mask of innocence
Hiding secrets, a clever defense
It coats the walls, a perfect disguise
But deep down, the truth never dies
Whitewash, the sound of silence
Echoing whispers, a haunting presence
It covers up, the cracks and scars
But the wounds, leave their marks
Whitewash, the scent of deceit
Lingering in the air, a bitter sweet
It paints over, the stains of past
But memories, forever last
Whitewash, an empty space
A canvas waiting, for a new embrace
It erases, the mistakes of yesterday
But the heart, can never betray
Whitewash, a reflection of light
A blinding brightness, a shining might
It brightens up, a dull facade
But beneath it all, lies a shattered god
Whitewash, a familiar friend
A constant companion, till the very end
It covers up, the colors within
But they long, to break free again
Whitewash, a never-ending cycle
A recurring theme, a constant battle
It repeats itself, again and again
But the truth, can never be slain
Whitewash, a symbol of hope
A chance to start over, a new scope
It offers a blank page, a fresh start
But the heart, can never depart
Whitewash, a canvas of life
A masterpiece, full of strife
It tells a story, of love and pain
But in the end, it's all just a game
Whitewash, a usual crescendo
A repetitive melody, a mundane tempo
But beneath the surface, lies a different beat
A soul crying out, to break free and retreat
So let the whitewash, slowly fade away
And let the colors, come out to play
For in the end, it's not just black and white
But a kaleidoscope, of colors shining bright.
