Who Among Us Can Throw That First Stone? Poem by Gamaliel Scipio

Who Among Us Can Throw That First Stone?

Rating: 0.5

Don’t ever bother
asking anyone
or even me
How they could
do this or that
after it is done
If it exist within
your ability to
do something
That could make
a difference
For god’s sake
And in the name of
everything good
Please do it
It is rather foolish
To go around
Pointing fingers
Accusing others
Of what has
already been done
Remember
Had it not been
for the wicked
and rebelliousness
of mankind
Including you and I
God would not
have sent his only
Begotten son.
Let he who is without
Fault or blemish
Try and cast
the first stone
I can guarantee you
that it will be
The last stone
He or she throws
He would have
Sealed his own doom
Becoming obsolete,
Destroyed finished
Life has this way
of coming again
and at times when
Least expected.

Who among us can throw that first stone?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Have you ever been asked something as how can you do this or that?
Especially when the person asking is expecting sorrow from you or some type of improbability, like reversing what is done
