Who Can Be Certain

Who can limit the Father’s love?
Show God they truly care
Close tight eternal doors above
And forfeit Heaven’s share

Who can revel from shore to shore?
Commit the vilest wrongs
Live and thrive as the devil’s whore
Singing religious songs

Who can preach and teach God’s Word?
Baptise and serve His sheep
Recite to others truth they’ve heard
Yet fail life’s final leap

Who can receive The Bread & Wine?
Say Jesus Christ is Lord
Even confess He’s God divine
Yet face the judgement sword

Who in their church can dance and sing?
Can speak in tongues galore
Give weekly tithe and offering
Yet close to life their door

Who deep in prayer can shame disperse?
Make demons squirm and flee
Quote the bible chapter and verse
Yet lose the victory

Who knows that God and Heaven’s true?
That hell is not a lie
That only one way’s to pursue
That leads to God on high

No doubt we’re all in danger here
But oh my God I pray
That more of us Christ’s name would fear
And in true faith obey
