Who Cares About Dragons

A dragon soon will prowl the earth
With one thing on it’s mind
To seek out those with second birth
With eyes no longer blind

Yet darkness fails to understand
The ways of faith and love
For Christ will have within His hand
Who’s call is high above

Destined to live ordained to rise
Nurtured through love and grace
Chosen to see with open eyes
Their Saviour’s smiling face

What cares have these with faith so true?
Of dragons great or small
Of fallen angels who’d pursue
The army God will call

Our hope is placed on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ our King
The Son of God we now confess
Through praises that we sing

We sing in truth to Christ on High
The Lamb who once was slain
Who chose in pain for us to die
That man may live again

Live again as ne’er before
Healed and made complete
Abundant life and so much more
Beginning at Jesus’ feet

In gratitude we cry above
With heart’s made pure and white
Thank You Jesus for all Your love
And fighting our life long fight
