Who I Am Poem by Skylark Woodrow

Who I Am

There is a song I want to sing,
It whispers through my soul,
It runs through my veins,
It's out of control.
It's bubbling and boiling,
Trying to get out;
And I'm setting it free,
I'm letting it control me.
I will no longer hide who I am to make you happy.
I will no longer stay silent so that you can be comfortable.
This is who I am and you can't change me.
I won't let you change me.
