Who Is Going To Hold You When I Am Gone

Who Is Going To Hold You When I Am Gone
--FreeBird 02

Love is dear and true
But it is not realized by you
Voices tender and hugs are true
But they are not realized by you.

Who's going to hold you
Once I am gone?

Cold in the morning
Colder at night
Where is the sweet delight;
All you say and do
Add up to the real you.

Who's going to truly hold you
When I am gone…

Reputations build
Actions can burn
Bridges built for you
Despite actions in return.

Who's going to hold you
Once I am gone?

I gave all I had
But that was not enough
The foundation was true
But you chiseled it anyway.

Who's going to hold you
Once I am gone?

I tried
You deigned
Love is on the rocks
Just really casual talks.

Who's going to hold you
Once I am gone?
