Who Is My Hero

Division
I don’t understand it so why accept it
I don’t agree wit it so I won’t associate myself with it
My way is right and if you don’t believe, then imma make you or get back
Stuck in what I know
Stuck in what I was told
Forced to believe all you wanted to know
Not given a choice
Believe it or your gone
Love for you, no more
Hate me for theories left in a book alone
Pick up the book then bash me with stones
And no, don’t think your welcomed back home
What if your book was just a really good play
Impossiable
No way those peoplewere capable of writing down screen plays scripts on stone
But we believe all the miracles it tells
Waking from the dead
Being healed from horriffic diseases
Lands being distroyed at once
People with no hope
Some with faith so strong they killed their own
To me, sounds like a good movie
It also reminds me of today
The unthinkable happening
So why not believe
Reminds us of now
What if thousands of years from now the only book we have left is superman
He becomes our new God
When will he return, who knows
But we will praise him until
I believe in a higher power
Because of now
Because of chance
Because of choice
Because of Destiny
Because of Love
Because of Faith
The earth made and it speaks for itself
I don’t think God made it that difficult for his creatures to have an understanding in a higher power
People need authority
Right or a wrong
So we base it on our superman for guidance
All for a hero

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Interesting. Division.... Most of the time it is by mans choice that division manifests. It is because of belief, laws and doctrine that births division. We need to accept each other for who we are. Your poem actually holds deep content, a very good write! ; D
