Whom Do They Worship (1)

They kneel in faith on bended knee?
Deceived they come to pray?
Was it a maid that set them free?
Upon that crucial day

Her mortal bones were laid to rest
Her body’s now no more
She too was flesh and so transgressed Lk.1: 47
Against God’s righteous law

No flesh is free from death and grave?
Unable to lift her head?
Has she power man soul to save?
And raise him from the dead?

Who can deny her blessed role?
Who can refute God’s choice?
Yet still she lies a sleeping soul
Waiting The Bridegroom’s voice

Was not she too of Adam’s seed Lk.1: 36
Was Baptist John her kin? Lk.1: 5
Did Christ not see her worldly need?
And bid man take her in Jn.19: 27

So what ordained such train of thought?
What songs do some yet sing?
Don’t they accept the true report?
Christ Jesus died to bring

Mary herself would not consent
Would not support these lies Lk.1: 46
Even the thought she’s quick repent
So truth would open eyes

How many live with gross deceit?
How many fooled have died?
How many more must reap defeat?
Without The Truth inside
