Whore Poem by Araek Maharba

Whore

An act of a whore,
Pleasure in acting,
Pretending only to please.

People pleasing whore,
A slut for acceptance,
Pitiful slut to some;
A wonderful whore to most.

Whore, slut, loose.

All meaning less,
As years go by,
Whore!
Slut!

Meaningless words,
To the ones that make profit,
Exchanging goods and services,
From between inner thighs.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Never have I personally did stuff like this in exchange for profit, but I have been a slut for acceptance for most of my life. Which is something I have learned is quite shit to do, unless you enjoy doing such things in a spotlight which searching for acceptance by peers. Acting as a different person; in different situations. Honestly to me it seems like a shallow thing to do. Therefore it is an act, not calling call girls or sex workers shallow. Although some may be, I am just comparing experience of social acceptance to whores in this case.
