Unfortunately Devon I think a lot of people probably do judge book books by their covers. They idea that they don't is some kind of old moral lesson from a story. A bit like a 'don't count your chickens before they hatch' sort of thing. Feeling like an outcast is a hard thing to cope with. It can be painful and miserable. But realize it is only temporary. Keep writing!
