Why Not? - Poem by Ryan Arthur Walker
Is it weak to be friendless
or is it strong to be selfish?
one may lack hope or desire
which is unhealthy for the mind
one needs desire, for it feeds
our hope full of dreams.
I desire a better life
Along the path which I want to live
No one may follow
I will make my own footprints on my own
I don't need anyone to make choices for me
I am me
There is not much more I can say
Other than to live your life fully
Encompass all the love you can
from day to day.
