Why Should He Listen, The Burdened Lord?

Rating: 4.9

Why should he listen, the burdened Lord?
Ignored by sundry and all
Who deny his mere existence
And his name in vain often call.
Why Should he care, the Burdened Lord
For your or my good,
We think nothing of others or our own,
Though we know we should.
Why should he forgive, the Burdened Lord
Who bears our hopes and fears,
And is wronged again and again for helping...
Yet he forgives and dries our tears.
It is often that we find,
He who bears the most, the least will mind.
