Wild Poem by Eric Paeplow

Wild

We are all the same deep down within
Life is life, no matter how it is displayed
For there is no difference between the tree
Or the man who enjoys its' shade
Everything is nothing and nothing sets you free
We each are all things present and all things past
And everything that will be for all eternity

Though we travel the world over
And search for all our lives
Never really knowing that for which we seek
Being born into a world in chaos
Most will try to find life's order
Some will question the order thus proclaimed
And the sound shall be pronounced insane.

Truth requires new beginnings
Only in the early morning light of life
Can we see the world without its pinning's
Unhinged, unchained from all mans strife
For with each forward step we begin
We leave our ghosts behind.
And we are damned for all eternity
Forever responsible for what we've tamed
