Winds Of Love Poem by Tracy Craighead

Winds Of Love

He pushes me away and proclaims his love
He says its unending, undying,
blessed from God above.
I believe him, seduced by the calm
in a moment it changes
blown away by the storm
The wind is gentle, when at first it blows
but gathers momentum
as the daylight grows
The darkness breeds insecurity...unrest
fears assault me
in his words of distress.
I can't control your mind
and your waking nightmare
…..I live it too!
of such monsters, I am aware
so, treat me kindly, and give me peace
I am not a part of the madness
but I am your one...and only release
