Winston (2024) Poem by Morgan Balanaser

Winston (2024)

He thought he'd never get a woman

So strong was his hate, he wanted to rape

Julia

How many western men today feel the same way?

Feminism has blamed men for actual, or perceived (mostly perceived) injustices

Yet has failed to give men credit for the benefits women have enjoyed throughout history

Corners have been cut, and programs created to help women advance economically

But men, falling behind economically, received no such support

And women are - usually - not attracted to men who earn less than them

And all this in a society feminists insist is a tyrannical patriarchy

Who is responsible for this situation?
