Winter Poem by Sabidin Ibrahim

Winter

Aha! sweet snow in winter
I love thee!
You keep inside the heavy kantha's with love.
Dearly hug of those dears keep me on the bed.
Aha! Worshiping the fire we want to keep ourselves hot!
In the street and in the marketplace men keep themselves as freeze as the snow.
Life is immobile as of the immobile snakes quite helpless in the ice.
The insects world is on holiday
They are not found around having (may be) honeymoon in their camp.
Their happy family don't want to share their camps for the all seasoned busy bee as men are.
Men's r peculiar, they don't 've holidays.
They had to work, they had to eat and they need to survive.
Thats why they lead on their soul journey upon the snow
forgetting the dark winter in it.
