Winter Poem by Antony Glaser

Winter

Took a walk today
The weather has changed
The equinox is 12 feet high
When I cast my mind back to summer
I was just a sapling

Now I'm armoured
facing the winter gasset alone
with perilous wind and rivulets
cascading their mournfulness
