Winter Land Poem by Joanna Patino

Winter Land

The freezing cold wind.
The icy cold snowflakes melting on my skin.
The lake is now solid and still.
The colorful sunset resting on the hills.
The white cheerful snow.
Dancing, as the wind blows.
The bears sleep, the birds cheap.
A memory i wish to take and keep.
Quiet, yet my heart sings.
As i look around and see everything.
I wish to stay.
Amazed i leave until the next day.
The picture will always remain.
And all the feelings won't change.
