Winter Night Poem by KunJung Hsiao

Winter Night

Apathy darkens the sky
after sunset pinks the clouds.
Brook sobs whisper
when far mountains fade out.

The hesitate moon wonder if climbs up the trees
while they yell on this cold night.
The north wind roars
for the few stars who don't be blown out.

Moonlight shine on the lake,
draw the shadows of jumping fishes.
There are long roads ahead of us,
why don't we enjoy the view right now?
