Wishes - Poem by Elliott Gilbert

I see you with him
and I wish it was me
for my love for you is bigger then the sea
its bigger then the ocean and sky its true
i just wish I could be with you
for my dreams are haunting me
reminding me of what could be
what i used to have
and what slipped away
and now im waiting for that day
the day this dream is my reality
so I wont suffer from this insanity
