Without Love Poem by CHRISTIAN Paiva

Without Love

When you're alone in your bed
And the moon casts its light
On the pillow where your head
Rests without love tonight

The sheets cold and stark
Your blanket rough and thin
You try to will yourself to sleep
Before the loneliness sets in

The hours pass like days
As you lie awake and stare
At the pillow next to yours
And wonder why love isn't there
