Without parole, a life on hold
Locked behind these iron bars
The days stretch out, endless and cold
Lost in a world of scars
Without parole, I'm just a number
A label to define my fate
Society's outcast, a forgotten ember
Left to wither and dissipate
Without parole, I watch the sun
Rise and fall from this desolate cell
My freedom taken, my spirit undone
Lost in a never-ending hell
Without parole, I dream of days
Where birds still sing and flowers bloom
But here in this prison maze
Hope is a distant, elusive plume
Without parole, I've learned to survive
In a place where hope is scarce
Where every day feels like a lie
And the pain is too much to bear
Without parole, I've seen it all
The violence, the despair, the tears
In this concrete world, I stand tall
But my heart still holds onto fears
Without parole, my loved ones gone
Left behind in a world so free
Their memories keep me moving on
But their absence just magnifies me
Without parole, I haunt these halls
A ghost of who I used to be
My spirit broken, my spirit falls
In this prison of misery
Without parole, I count the days
Each one a battle, each one a war
Trapped in this never-ending maze
Where time has no meaning anymore
Without parole, my heart aches
For the life that could have been
But here I am, in this cage
Condemned to a life of sin
Without parole, I long for a second chance
A ray of hope, a glimmer of light
But in this world of law and justice
My voice is silenced, my hands are tied tight
Without parole, I am invisible
A faceless, nameless entity
Lost in a system so unforgivable
Devoid of humanity
Without parole, I am a prisoner of time
Sentenced to a life without end
But in my heart, I know I'll shine
For in my spirit, I'll never bend
Without parole, I hold on to faith
That one day justice will prevail
And I'll be set free from this wraith
That has consumed my very soul
Without parole, I am a man
With hopes, dreams, and a beating heart
But in this world, I'm just a forgotten stand
A victim of a justice system so harsh
Without parole, I am still alive
Breathing, fighting, and standing tall
For though my body may be confined
My spirit will never fall
Without parole, I'll keep on living
In this world that's so unjust
For though my body may be imprisoned
My spirit will never rust
Without parole, I'll hold on to love
For in my heart it will never die
And though my days may be rough
In my dreams, I will always fly
Without parole, I am a warrior
A survivor of a battle so fierce
And though I may be caged and lower
My spirit will never be pierced
Without parole, I'll keep on dreaming
Of a world where justice is true
For in my heart, I'll keep believing
That one day my freedom will come true.
