Wolves Of Chaos Poem by Maverick Jones

Wolves Of Chaos

The man on the moon, dances with the angels at noon.
He relaxes by day, fights the worlds enemies away.

He is the guardian of the stars, his body full of gruesome scars.
He protects us from harm, keeping the world safe in his arms.

However he is sad since no one visits him, making him feeling grim.
He believes no one loves him the way they use to, and if anyone does it's just a few.

The scientist all think about Mars, and to the normal people it's fancy cars.
The moon light isn't so bright, he's having a hard time keeping up the good night.

He drops his guard down letting the moon turn red, releasing the wolves as he watches the chaos spread.

He has the power to make all life suffer, hoping to make us tougher.
He will watch the wolves tear this world apart, leaving nothing for him but an empty heart.

We will cry as the wolves destroy our cities traveling in groups of seven, no where is safe to hide no even heaven.
The angels will soon join in, the chaos that will end all men.

We could have prevented this by looking up at the moon every now and then, I'm sure we're never make the same mistake again.

May the man on the moon forgive us someday, and let mankind roam the world again sending the wolves away.
