Woman In My World Poem by David Pyrs

Woman In My World

You are a woman in my world,
You cause, great stories to unfold.

You have inspired most epic novels,
Given birth to legendary marvels.

You are a woman, in my world,
Your essence, has led men to onslaught.

You have brought peace at times of war,
You have learned to leave behind, the scar.

We wonder & we ponder,
This earth we call home.

Our yearn for adventure,
Our desire, for the throne.

But as we seek the to quench our thirst, in unknown waters,
We come to forget our forever mothers.

Yet, you still are a woman in my world,
Main character in my hearts centerfold.

You elevate us, beyond any peak,
Your voice carries love, whenever you speak.

There are no words,
No colors,
No songs,
or large enough centerfolds.

To express my love.

No books,
No mountain peaks,
Or rising sphinx’s from ancient stories.

There is nothing of magnitude to come even close,
To appreciate you as I do within my hearts doors.

Yet I will, from this day,
And that which will follow today.

Find the highest peak there is,
Look beyond all endless seas,
Scream until my lungs collapse,
Love until my heart bangs!

So the world bears,
And the man feels.

So the child hears,
And evil fears.

So emptiness fills,
By your hearts thrills.

So there is no doubt,
Left unclear,

And only one thought may appear…

That, you are a woman in my world,
And everything spins, because you, wander my thought.
