Sadness flies away on the wings of time
Yet I still wish you were mine
I miss you every time I think
Of all the times we wrote in ink

Every time I hear that song
I think about how I had it all wrong
Yet I still wish you were by my side
But our relationship still died

I thank you for helping me through
And how you withdrew
All your troubles just to help me with mine
But our troubles were too much combined.

I left you when you needed me most
But you still wanted me close
I still wanted to be with you
But I found a different way to get through

I love you with all my heart
But I let us fall apart
I wish one day we will meet
And the meeting will be so sweet!
