I can't find
The right words.
It's a grind
To strike the right chords.

I know what
To say.
But that
Won't happen today.

I need to
Tell you.
I've found what's true
About what grew.

The proper choices
Are right there.
Our voices
Show how much we care.

I don't know how,
Like this, I can live.
I need to say it now
But all I can muster is olive.

You're what I need
Who I grasp for.
I swear on my creed,
On you, I will never shut the door.

I need it to be the day
Where I show what's true.
I need to say
I love you.
