People do write their stories when they feel they've got something to say, using their imagination or facts...Sometimes you can cut the whole truthful picture into pieces and just mix them in order to encrypt the truth under the cover of fiction... This is your conscious choice - you paint a new story, still preserving the most significant pieces of the original, or you can simply share something totally made up and you don't need to be a schizophrenic to do that...
