Words' Worth Poem by Tony Noon

Words' Worth

Carnegie's ghost is colorless
and floats amongst unsought
stories of small-town pioneers.

There is benevolence here, and
a hope that provision will draw
attention from passing crowds.

Too often, though, audiences
are converted, and come here
seeking simple words of solace.
