Worker Vs Non Worker Part 1 Poem by Sam Edison

Worker Vs Non Worker Part 1

I wake up before the sun
Your still in bed your stress is none
I walk to a crowded train
Your still dreaming inside your brain
Subway car feels like a coffin ship
The lucky ones headed home from graveyard shift
By the time you wake up with folgers in your cup
My backs allready aching my hands are feeling rough
It is now finally my coffee break
You're in your new Benz feeling great
Your pleaseant drive to work
My whole dam body hurt
Filth and grime all over my clothes
You're 1500 dollar suit a beautiful rose
You get into you're office and take a few calls
I have a young foreman busting my balls
After only 2 hours you go and head home
My pregnant babys mother ringing my cell phone
Reminds me to pay the bills my whole check is spent
Tommorow you on vacation and I might not make rent
