Would I Then Now Be Poem by Joseph Caraveo

Would I Then Now Be

Jumbled are my thoughts
Hide and seek goes the mind
Swimming down an uphill river
Emotional depths they bind
A tightrope walk
Forgot too breath
Nestled amongst rivers
Buried amongst tree
Pleasure and pain
They follow
Luscious grey I see
If only life was black and white
Would I then now be
