If I wasn't there

Into something less strange
Don't lie
I know you won't
Don't tell me that you love me
Because I know you don't
Why can't you just tell me
Exactly how you feel
Why must you confuse me
Into thinking that fake it real
Why do you act like this
Like you don't care about me
I guess it's because you don't
Now I see
But why can't you just tell me
Why do you have to keep me waiting
You and I both know
That there's no point in us dating
It was so hard to accept
But I did what I had to do
