Write Poem by William Morris

What shall I write?
That all men are thieves and fools,
And all women foolish?
That tomorrow, like today, mirrors yesterday?
That hope must conquer expectation,
Lest fear have dominion?
That good is embattled,
Whereas evil abounds?
And that peace is ephemeral,
Or that kind words are short and easy to speak,
But that their echoes are endless.
