Yes I'M Young But I Love Like I'M Old - Poem by Joe Johnson

Yes I'm young but I love like I'm old
Yes I'm poor but my I'm rich with dreams
When you say I'm young I say young is the new old
When you say I'm poor I say the poor are rich with dreams
When you come up to me and be mean I just shake my head and think how can I help them
When you act like a jerk I know you had a hard life and I smile and say hi.
Yes I'm young but I love like I'm old
Yes I'm poor but I'm rich with dreams
I Dream of the angels in my life
I think like I'm old with the knowledge of a lifetime of mistakes
Yes I'm young but I love like I'm old
Yes I'm poor but I'm rich with dreams
