Yielding At A Stoplight Poem by Mikey Estrada

Yielding At A Stoplight

Many say love is a two-way street and if you don’t have trust then you really do not have much. Trust is what keeps you in touch.
So why posses him to think otherwise of you? It can’t be me cause what in me would you really see? Sure I; m smart, But other then that I got nothing but a heart, while he got everything that gives him the head start
He is lucky to have you by his side, He has the money the looks and the ride.
Yeah love is a battlefield and that’s something he shouldn’t ignore but I can only win the battle while he wins the war.
Just learn to appreciate what you got because if you don’t show any affection, There’s always time for another selection.
I have no problem admitting defeat.Just do me the favor and assure yourself he makes you complete.
