You Poem by Barbara Clafton

You

Rating: 5.0

I can sense you before I see you,
feel you, yet have never touched you.
I taste you but have yet to kiss you
and return to you before I ever miss you.

I know I'll lose you long before I find you
and see light fade from what you leave behind you.

I dreamed of you so long before I met you
and deep inside I never could forget you.
