You And Me
Emotions a buzz
all inside my head
Tears falling like rain
staining me with dread.
All those memories of you haunt my dreams
I'll never forget
or get over you it seems.
I was already drunk
on the warm feelings you brought
But now I'm sober
and more stressed than an inseparable knot.
So tonight
please just leave me be
And allow me to move on from what was
you and me.
