You Are Poem by Wilson Khor W.H.

You Are

You are my sun
You are my moon
You are my constellations
across this empty sky.

You are my trees
You are my grass
You are my blooming flowers
as the season passes by.

You are my seas
You are my mountains
You are my rain and falling snow
in this silent poignant world.

You are my song
You are my poem
You are my reason behind each heartbeat
as time trickles down.

Because,
when I am alone in my bedroom...

Where the sun and moon
and the stars cannot reach,
Where flowers cannot grow
and the rain and seas are silent,
Where my songs and secret poems
remain stillborn and unheard,
And where all I could hear
are the beatings of my heart
and the clock ticking down...

You are the only one remained.
(Even if your presence
are just promises and feelings,)
You are still the one who stayed.
You are the only one that mattered.
And you are the one and only matter
in the world,
in the universe...

In which I found a home,
In which I found my solace.
