You Are A Garden In My Eyes Poem by Charles Eastland

You Are A Garden In My Eyes

YOU ARE A GARDEN IN MY EYES

I see the fun of light
across your garden smile
bent to your flowers
with happy hands in dirt
in spite of weeds of doubt
a little timeless abandon
lost in your floral art

I see your spirit in colors
no fashion trends compare
to the melody of fragrance
around your head my Love

It’s no place for mere words
here to net such fleeting gifts
that puts this light in my heart

You are a garden in my eyes
That delights the worlds
so restive behind them
