You Are Beautiful Poem by Mehar Chauhan

Mesmerized by his warmth I followed HIM,
I followed HIM like how we follow stars,
Only to say Hello-goodbye
My journey was in complete sync with the music,
To which I plug myself-
It felt good-real good

Anyways I reached my goodbye destination
I knew could say my good-bye just fine from here.
HE could hear them too, without any obstructions

HE also spoke to me about his day,
(realizing there was some more time before HE took leave) ,
I spoke back in a natural flow
Didn’t feel awkward or strange,
But, good. Real good

It was most relaxing moment of the day
We gazed at each-other for few more minutes
sharing warmth and words which only eyes spoke,
Then HE finally disappeared.
HIS last words were echoing around
“I will be back, I will be back”

It made me see the beauty in simple truth,
The immense beauty in being true to self
The smallest of the true acts have unparalleled charm

Be true; Be natural; You're beautiful.
