You Are Nobody In This Country Poem by Sudip Das

You Are Nobody In This Country

"You are Hindu and you cast your vote for a fixed political party
You wanna know, all of you are burden for us"- guess the comment
Or ask -who says that? A fox or a hyena? In canvas it was a student.
Don't you think, the ghost of liberation war rises from revolution?

We are your neighbors and friends, don't we? "Who wants"? -Guess
The ghost or he is a Pro-Pakistani, you may draw the conclusion.
We born in this land, we have common culture, nevertheless we have
No right. For what? Being a Bangladeshi, Being a land owner, we are landless!

Yes, we are human being
Yes, we are Bengali
Yes, we are Hindu
Yes, we are native.

We are not, but you are the minority to push us in a corner for a political motive.
You are Pro-Pakistani and a huge burden for us in Bangladesh.
