You looked at me today
And I’ll never be the same
You took my breath away
And healed all my pain

Your eyes met with mine
And I thought that I might cry
You gave to me a smile
And I felt like I could fly

Then your voice I heard
Singing, you spoke my name
Laughing my heart leapt
This joy I could not tame

What a gift to us God has given
Such a jewel in this dark place
Full of such beauty and joy
You, the image of Grace

So smile beautiful Angel
Sing the world a song
For your joy is all that I seek
And for your laugh all that I long

And now I feel so bold
This confidence comes wherefrom
Will you beautiful cherub
Be my date to Prom?
