she said, ' believe my words, ''
and i said 'i do' but still words too lie,
She said, 'look in my eyes',
i said 'i am', that's why i am asking you not to hide.
She said, 'trust my promise' ,
i would like too, but can't ignore these broken ties.
She said ' look at my smile',
i said, 'i am'! that's why i am asking, 'why your heart is crying'.

She holded my hand
to give me that assurance,
and that touch took me deeper into her pain,
something she was trying to hide in vain.

I know you are troubled,
i know you are in pain,
don't try to hide what you can't.
Just don't say a word,
let this silence echo around,
i can feel the prick of your broken heart,
nothing can shout more loud.

So,
i fold my hands,
and pray to you-
do not act like nothing happened,
do not behave like i am no one to you,
your soul resides in my heart,
but still; if you think you can try,
then do,
but to me you can't lie
