You Counted Your Demons
You counted your demons
kept them inside a book,
don’t feel neglected
they’re here to stay.
They’re breathing for you
none will be at loss
I know you need them
more than you need me.
Scan the place as I leave
it gets darker each second
the world is out to get you;
it will never be over.
