You Got Me Writing Poem by chidiebere franklin

You Got Me Writing

I haven’t written a poem,
Since the last time I was hurt,
I haven’t written a poem,
Since my heart was ready to burst,
But now you got me writing,
Not because I’m sad,
Now you got me writing,
About things I never had,
I never had someone call me,
And tell me they care for me,
I never had any one,
Just stop and stare at me,
And tell me that I’m pretty,
Even when I looked bad,
And tell me that I’m sexy,
And tell me to never be sad,
I’ve written you these poems,
So you would know how I feel,
I want you to know I want you,
And I want you to know I’m real.

wow. this one is good too...but why does it say that you have never had any one to tell you you're pretty? ?
